Seasonal Lab TechnicianResponsibilities + Enter the sample data into eLIMS system in a timely and accurate manner. + Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient and timely manner; ensure sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded. + Keeping work area clean, sanitized, and tidy + Homogenizing and aseptically splitting sample into bags + Enriching samples with media + Incubating samples using LIMS system + Checking samples into retain using storage management + Identify non-conformances and out-of specifications samples + Performs other duties as assigned Essential Skills + Proficiency in biology, microbiology, and laboratory techniques + Experience with aseptic techniques and sterile plating + Knowledge of quality assurance protocols Additional Skills & Qualifications + AAS or BA degree in microbiology, food science, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related field + Comfortable working in a fast-paced lab environment Work Environment Registration - Tuesday - Friday 1 - 9 PM, Saturday 9 AM - 5:30 PM ($18.81/hr.)
