Job Description
As a Seasonal Lab Technician, you will be responsible for entering sample data into the eLIMS system accurately and promptly, performing laboratory testing on all incoming samples efficiently, and ensuring sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded.

This position offers four seasonal openings: three full-time and one part-time. Full-time shifts include Monday to Friday (10 AM - 2 PM start time), Wednesday to Sunday (10 AM - 2 PM start time), and Tuesday to Friday (1 - 9 PM) with Saturday (9 AM - 5:30 PM). The part-time shift is Friday to Sunday (12 - 8:30 PM). Work in a repetitive lab environment, primarily focused on microbiological testing of pet food, ingredients, nutraceuticals, and food dyes. Expect to work 45-50 hours per week, with potential overtime depending on sample volume. The department values a positive personality, strong attention to detail, independent working ability, and a collaborative mindset. Lab appropriate wear includes long pants and closed-toe shoes. Lab coats and safety glasses will be provided. Physical demands involve standing all day and extensive hand usage.

The pay range for this position is $17.94 - $19.69
