**The Opportunity** Delaware Norths Sportservice is hiring a seasonal, part time Lead Line Cook to join our team at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence Rhode Island. The Lead Line Cook will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with food preparation and assembling dishes according to recipes & specifications for our full service restaurant, luxury suites, catering service & team meals. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards, fostering teamwork, and enhancing the overall culinary experience for our guests. This is a part time, seasonal position. All team members receive benefits including: + Weekly pay + Employee assistance program + Training and development opportunities + Employee discounts + Flexible work schedules **Responsibilities** + Execute food preparation and cooking across various kitchen stations. + Rotate through different kitchen stations to ensure all areas are covered as needed. + Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistency in quality. + Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on different stations. + Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety. + Contribute to menu development and adaptation as needed. + Work collaboratively with chefs to ensure seamless kitchen operations. + May be required to perform other duties as needed to support the overall goals and objectives of the team and organization. **Qualifications** + Significant experience as a line cook, showcasing advanced culinary skills.2+ years preferred. + Proven ability to work efficiently in different kitchen stations. + Strong leadership skills with the capacity to guide and inspire the team. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills. + Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. + Flexibility to adapt to evolving menu requirements and kitchen dynamics. + Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. **Physical Requirements** + Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip etc. a variety of foods and liquids.  + Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 pounds. + Ability to handle or operate dangerous kitchen equipment. + Standing and walking for entire length of shift. + Frequently required to reach up to 6 to 7 feet, twist at waist, bending and squatting + Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops and brooms. + Kitchen environment – noise levels may be moderate-to-high. + Works frequently in a hot and damp environment. **Shift Details** Day shift Evening shift Holidays Monday to Friday Weekends Event based **Who We Are** At Delaware North, you’ll love where you work, who you work with, and how your day unfolds.
