PAY RATE: $13.05 per hour (up to 600 hours per year or 120 days per season). GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Work activities in this position primarily involve the operation and maintenance of a marina facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The list below is intended to describe the general nature of duties only. Employee shall perform other duties as assigned. + Operates cash register, collects and records daily receipts accurately. + Checks change fund daily. + Performs daily dock and ground checks. + Cleans restrooms and marina building. + Stocks all refectory and sundry items. + Cleans and maintains acceptable appearance of marina facility and launch site water area. + Responsible for slip re-rentals and assignments. + Advises boaters of the marina rules. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + Ability to get along with co-workers, supervisors, and park visitors. + Ability to distinguish letters and symbols. + Ability to communicate using telephone and/or radio. + Ability to operate cash register. + Ability to work in all weather conditions. + Will be required to work assigned Special Events, Weekends, Evenings and Holidays. + Will be required to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs. + Ability to perform essential duties.
