Seeking Seasonal, Part Time Music Assistants to join our Divisional Headquarters

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position will assist the Music Department in operating the Divisional Music and Arts Conservatory, Divisional Music and Arts Camp and Corps Music Week Program

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Music and Arts Conservatory and Music, Arts and Jr. Soldier Camp

Assist with setting up and preparing for music ministries at Long Point CampConduct and/or assist in devotionsParticipate/lead in chorus as assigned byParticipate/lead elective classesMeet each day with member of Music and Arts DepartmentAssist in other duties assigned by the Divisional Music Director and/or Assistant Divisional Music Director.

Corps Summer Music Week

Organize a 5-day music program at their local corps in conjunction with Corps Officer and/or Local OfficerIdentify a minimum of 6 students to participate in the weekWork with the Divisional Music Department to identify proper curriculum and musicMake all copies of materials needed for classesIdentify potential volunteers with the help of Corps Officers and/or Local OfficerPlan a daily scheduleSet up a performance schedule for students involvedMeet daily (virtually) with member of the Music Department

Qualifications
