We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to join our team on a part-time, seasonal basis. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and handling products while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will assist in processing returned merchandise, monitor inventory, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
Work Experience
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate proficiency in packing components, sub-components, and displays for cases and boxes.Consistently meet production, accuracy, and quality standards.Ensure outbound cases, boxes, and displays are clean, safe, and in good condition.Assist in processing returned merchandise, unpacking cases, and meeting quality standards.Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper packing of book fairs.Utilize scanners to handle item inquiries and request replenishment of pick locations.Pick and pack customer reorders accurately and efficiently.Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.Assist with seasonal inventory production-line resets and physical inventory functions.Participate in Customer Appreciation Warehouse Sale Events.Carefully handle all merchandise and report unsafe conditions or damaged equipment.Utilize proper lifting, packing, and handling techniques, including pushing/pulling heavy cases and climbing ladders.Complete labor data collection cards accurately and in a timely manner.Operate motorized pallet jacks after completing training.Maintain punctuality and attendance according to the assigned schedule.Uphold a courteous and positive attitude with co-workers and customers.Adhere to the company's drug and alcohol-free policy.Qualifications:
Basic product scanner proficiency for ordering and replenishment.Ability to lift boxes up to 30 lbs to a height of 70 inches.Ability to push wheeled cases exceeding 300 lbs with initial force up to 50 lbs.Capability to stand, squat, bend, and kneel regularly during the shift.Tolerate work in a non-air-conditioned environment.Follow detailed assembly processes accurately.Strong teamwork and communication skills, with basic math skills.Must be able to read documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals in English.Ability to use hands for handling items, and possess specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.Benefits
