Seeking an experienced fee-only Financial Advisor to join our team in the Williamson County areas, with the goal of expanding their existing book of business and merging with us. The Financial Advisor will work independently to achieve their own success, while also being a valuable member of our successful team. Responsibilities
Create a seamless transition for an existing book of business.
Achieve a retention goal of 60% or higher for the current book.
Proactively establish new client relationships.
Contact all hot leads.
Source potential business opportunities through networking and referrals.
Show exceptional follow-up skills.
Provide financial planning services to the client base.
Proactively communicate with clients.
Promote the company's wealth enhancement and planning services.
Promote established investment models and strategies that are suitable for our target clients.
Embrace a team approach and effectively communicate and collaborate with other advisors and staff.
Adhere to all company and industry supervisory guidelines and policies.
Participate in required meetings, training, community events, and continuing education requirements.
Comply with all SEC regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program.
Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
Industry Experience Requirements
Preferred qualifications include at least three years of experience in financial planning and/or investment advisory.
Experience with catering to high net worth clients is desirable.
Active 65/66 licenses are required.
A clean U-4 and U-5 history is necessary.
Possessing the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is preferred.
Series 7 is preferred, but not required.
Preferably possess Life & Health Insurance Licenses.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Superior relationship management and business development skills. An excellent attitude and an extraordinary focus on client service. Great organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with E-Money financial planning software. A bachelor's degree or higher is strongly preferred.
