Position summary
As a Senior Product Specialist for Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you'll have the chance to create an exceptionally significant impact. Your role will involve consulting with customers to improve technology utilization and promote advancements in clinical healthcare solutions. You'll collaborate with key strategic customers to address project needs and enhance the application of our technologies. Responsibilities:
Consult with customers to improve technology utilization and successfully implement advancements in protocols, kits, and capabilities in clinical settings.
Drive the clinical utilization of our technologies and increase reagent efficiency.
Collaborate with strategic customers to establish positive relationships and focus on project needs.
Develop and lead a business plan to meet or exceed business goals.
Successfully compete to win projects against competitors.
Lead instrument install base and consumable utilization.
Enter accurate and complete customer data and sales information into the company sales database.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Genomics, or equivalent (PhD preferred).
Proven 5+ years experience in Life Science sales or a related area, specifically in account management.
Extensive knowledge of clinical sequencing, next-generation sequencing, life science, oncology, and reproductive testing environments.
Excellent command of scientific knowledge to engage in a collaborative sales process.
Relevant sales experience and expertise in the sale of CapEx lab instrumentation.
Strong communication and written command of English (technical) language.
