Kforce's client, a publicly traded Financial Services company located in a State of the Art office in Northern, NJ is looking for an SEC Reporting Senior Manager. Summary: This position manages general accounting and/or financial reporting functions. The candidate oversees general ledger accounts and ensures accuracy of financial statements. They will ensure accuracy in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) and the company's policies and procedures and internal controls. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities: * SEC Reporting Senior Manager will ensure appropriate delegation of work and manage the accounting staff * Manage daily accounting and reporting activities for investment accounting * Implement accounting policies and procedures * Manage account reconciliations * Prepare financial analyses and financial reports and statistics for management * Review financial statements * As a SEC Reporting Senior Manager, you will ensure financial accountability and minimize financial risk for the organization * Ensure company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP), and governmental regulations; Assist as needed on SOX 404 documentation and controls * Streamline accounting operations; Implement and maintain procedures to improve workflow efficiencies
