Direct Hire position$41,600.00 to $52,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)The Secondary Mortgage Marketing Analyst/Specialist is responsible for completing lock and pricing review request queues submitted by operations staff as well as internal and external loan officers. This person is expected to carefully review and evaluate each request. The task will include completing the updates in the loan record, re-price loan using historical pricing tool, update the lock record, and checking the loan changes against guidelines for eligibility purposes. The Secondary Market Specialist will maintain an understanding of each channel's specific lock policies and have basic product knowledge.
Relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobMonitors Lock Desk shared email in-boxAnswers Lock Desk Call Center inquiriesModifies lock and re-prices loan after initial lockComplete the updates in loan records Re-price loans using historical pricing tool and update lock recordCheck the loan changes against guidelines for eligibility purposesCompletes rate lock renegotiations, lock extensions, and final price check Locks loan with investor and secures lock confirmationGenerates the lock confirmation Pricing and eligibility validations due to loan characteristic changesProvides assistance to internal Operations staff as well as internal and external Loan Officers concerning rate lock related questionsAdministers all secondary market duties that aid in selling and purchasing loansComplies with secondary market lawsPerform related duties as requested.
Secondary Mortgage Marketing Analyst / Lock Desk Qualifications:
Mortgage experience preferredBasic knowledge of mortgage pricing and documents including complianceStrong Excel skillsBachelor's degree in a related field or 1-3 years of related experience preferredCustomer service orientedDemonstrated ability to work with a pleasant, reliable, and responsible approachStrong Interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office productsStrong phone etiquette & communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize workload and meet deadlinesComfortable working in fast-paced environmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
