Working as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team in the Ambulatory Care setting and Specialty clinics, such as Endoscopy, Urodynamics, Minor Surgical Plastics and Cataract Sedation Nurse. The Endoscopy Nurse functions as an experienced self-directed surgical care nurse by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperiencePost-basic education in Gastroenterology and Urodynamics; training in Endoscopy, Urodynamics, Minor Surgical Specialty clinics, Procedural Sedation, and two (2) years recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
Basic Life Support, Level C.
