Secondary Operations Specialist
**Job title** : Secondary Operations Specialist **Job Summary** The candidate will work as a Secondary Operations Specialist, operating various machines to produce quality leather products. They will learn basic processes initially and gradually acquire knowledge in tooling changes and machine maintenance while performing order processing tasks and troubleshooting machinery issues. **Skill Requirements** _Must-Have:_ + Experience with **Secondary Operations** machinery. + Ability to perform **tooling** and **tool changes** . + Knowledge of **machine maintenance** and **troubleshooting** . + Proficiency in **order processing** , including setup and quality inspection. + Capability to conduct **TPM checks** on machines. _Preferred:_ + Familiarity with leather processing equipment. + Strong communication skills for daily teamwork. **Skill Education** + **Secondary Operations:** Refers to additional manufacturing processes that occur after initial production steps. These can include finishing or assembly operations. + **Tooling:** Tools used in manufacturing processes. Tool changes involve switching out these tools as needed for different tasks or products. + **Tool Changes:** The process of replacing or adjusting tools used in machinery for various operational needs. + **Machine Maintenance:** Routine actions taken to keep machines running efficiently and prevent breakdowns. + **Troubleshooting:** Identifying problems within machinery or processes and finding solutions to resolve them. + **Order Processing:** Managing orders from start to finish including setup, production runs, and quality inspections. + **Quality Inspection:** Checking products at various stages of production to ensure they meet specified standards. + **TPM Checks:** Total Productive Maintenance checks are routine inspections performed on equipment daily/weekly/monthly/annually. **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
