AnthroMed Education is a therapy group made up of Speech-Language Pathologists who support children in schools by providing high-quality speech services. We are expanding our team throughout Auburn Hills and looking for licensed SLPs with a passion for providing therapy in schools! 

Job Details:
This SLP will support both middle and high school-age students and work closely with another SLP who is supporting the Resource Room classes in those buildings. This caseload is currently in the 30s and primarily includes supporting the ASD and self-contained classrooms.

What grade levels are you searching for, and what eligibilities do you have experience with?  How far do you want to travel?  Our goal is to align you with a role that matches your goals and background. Start interviewing with our school partners to dive into the caseload, school culture, and specifics for each role. AnthroMed’s Clinical Support: Bi-weekly team meetings to brainstorm and problem solve with other SLPs! Dedicated SLP Clinical support including 1:1 caseload guidance, speech therapy materials database, and free continuing education opportunities! Most importantly, we are dedicated to your success, and you will find that we are always responsive, engaged, and always available to connect. SLP Responsibilities:Evaluate student’s speech-language abilities to prepare and conduct treatment plansProvide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to students according to the students’ IEPsConduct and analyze assessments to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skillsParticipate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetingsDevelop treatment plans, in conjunction with instructional staff, that are strength-based, as well as child and family-centered for overall educational improvementEnsure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelinesCollaborates with agencies, school district personnel, and families for the purpose of transition planning and necessary placement.Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disordersOther duties as assignedRequirements:Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication DisordersValid MI license through LARAPrior school experience preferred
