SecOps Engineer

Description We are seeking a SecOps Engineer to join our team in BENSALEM, Pennsylvania. As a critical part of our Financial Services team, you will be responsible for designing and managing secure network solutions, monitoring our security systems, and developing policies to ensure data privacy. This role is an exciting opportunity for those with a keen interest in security operations and a desire to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement secure network solutions such as firewalls and web content filtering systems
• Monitor intrusion detection and prevention systems, responding to any suspicious activities
• Develop and maintain network-based DLP solutions and policies to ensure data privacy
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus and work on necessary remediation
• Deploy zero-day threat protection measures and develop effective response strategies
• Manage endpoint protection technologies to guard against malware and other security threats
• Implement identity and access management solutions
• Design and manage SIEM solutions for centralized security monitoring, advanced threat detection, and comprehensive incident response
• Maintain security architecture documentation and generate regular security posture reports
• Collaborate with IT and compliance teams, providing guidance on security best practices
• Utilize skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco ASA Firewall, Cisco Routers, Check Point, Checkpoint Firewall, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Datacenter. Requirements • Possess in-depth knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
• Proficient in working with Checkpoint and Checkpoint Firewall
• Experienced in managing Cisco ASA and Cisco ASA Firewall
• Familiar with Cisco Routers
• Skilled in handling Computer Hardware
• Expertise in Configuration Management
• Experience in Datacenter operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic Financial Services environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Proven track record of managing complex technical projects
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
