Secret AI/ML Engineer
Insight Global welcomes an exceptional ML/AI software engineer to join our on-going Science and Technology (S&T) efforts at one of the Army's premier R&D Centers at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. As part of the Insight Global team supporting advanced radar capabilities development, you'll have access to state-of-the-art engineering and modeling tools and subject matter expertise in the areas of radar, modeling and simulation, and software/hardware development for current and future Army radar and sensor systems. You'll use your knowledge and experience in the areas of AI, Deep Learning (DL), and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications to develop hardware and software to improve the signal processing of current and next generation RF systems including radar, electronic warfare (EW) and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) sensors.

Duties include:

· Research and implement state-of-the-art Machine Learning (ML) technologies for tailored for application to radar data processing.
· Exercise a strong knowledge of software systems, artificial intelligence (AI), Deep Learning, design methods, and system of systems architectures.
· Participate in algorithmic design and machine learning frameworks including detection, classification, and targeting techniques.
· Provide analysis, requirements and algorithm design, implementation, integration, verification, and maintenance of artificial intelligence software systems. Collaborate across multi-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving the IT services enterprise.
· Understanding of supporting technologies including cloud computing, containerization (for deployment), parallelization (for training), databases (for training data), and Git (for code management).
· Collaborate across multi-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving the advanced engineering and modeling and simulation experimentation environment and solutions.
· Understands and can follow development operations procedures such as source control, change management and release planning.
· Integrate AI engine/techniques with modeling and simulation applications.
· Ability to self-manage and pace responsibilities to ensure completion of all required activities in a timely manner.
· Publication and presentation of research at world-class international and government conferences.


$52hr to $77hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
