Job Description
An employer is looking for a Secret Chief Systems Engineer supporting an Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) program in Albuquerque, NM. The Chief Systems Engineer will work closely with the government customer on existing space contracts and support front end solution architecting on other contracts currently in execution or proposal development across the Space Division. They will complete Monthly Status Reports, Scientific and Technical Reports, Test/Inspection Reports, Systems Engineering Management Plans, Technical and Management Work Plans, and reviews of tech briefs. They will perform high level systems engineering duties as well on small satellite development - Space Vehicle Design, Development, Fabrication, Assembly, Integration, and Test, as well as mission development and operations.
Pay range: $80-101/hr depending on experience

Skills and Requirements
- Active Secret or TS Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree with roughly 15 years of experience or a Masters with 10 years
- 10+ years of experience within space systems engineering
- Exposure to development of small satellites or CubeSats - Space acquisition experience (SPRDE)
- Space mission area experience in one or more of the following: MilSatCom, Missile Warning, PNT, SDA, ISR.
- Experience with principles of resiliency, rapid prototyping, cloud-based environments, AI and non-traditional commercial industry best practices
- DAWIA Level 3 Systems Engineering certification or similar cert
- Experience with prototyping
- Program Management experience null
