Job Description Insight Global is seeking a qualified Embedded Engineer with 6+ years if experience in support of one of are large federal clients in Virginia Beach, VA. This candidate will be supporting and be responsible for working on integrated circuits to create a flow down effect that will adapt hardware functions of different software designs. Their day-to-day will include and not limited to:  · Expertise in Performance Analysis: Independently analyze hardware and software interface performance, identifying alternatives to optimize computer resource usage and modern hardware solutions.  · Embedded Systems Design: Design, develop, and maintain embedded systems to ensure specialized computing systems perform required tasks within larger electronic software systems.  · User Support and Consultation: Provide assistance and routine consultation to users for system and environment development and integration.  · Advanced Development Skills: Develop embedded radar distribution capabilities using FPGAs, SoCs, and microcontrollers.  · Architectural Review and Development: Review and develop architectures, component functional allocation and flows, interfaces, system processing, and performance for AN/SPA systems.  · Requirement Analysis and Documentation: Create descriptions and data flows for proposed systems and perform requirement analysis. Compensation: $92k to $107k per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements · Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with three (3) years of full-time professional experience in the design, development, production, or testing of electronic, electro-mechanical and/or hydro-electronic equipment, with one (1) year of full-time experience.  · Six (6)+ years of professional experience in systems, software, electrical or mechanical engineering with three (3) years of having full-time professional experience in the design, development, production, or testing of electronic, electro-mechanical, and/or hydro-electronic equipment.  · Programming experience in languages such as C, C++, VHDL, AHDL.  · Experience in embedded systems development, debugging, and troubleshooting and with real-time operating systems.  · Must be analytical and have the ability to problem-solve with a track record of working well on engineering teams.  · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.  · Eagerness to continually learn and improve.
