Systems Administrator
We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Systems Administrator with 8-10 years of experience to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, stability, and efficiency of our core systems and services. The role involves a mix of proactive management, routine maintenance, and rapid response to emergent issues.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our organization's server infrastructure, including operating systems and applications.
Ensure optimal performance of IT systems through routine evaluation, updating, and testing.
Perform monitoring of both cloud and on-prem environments ensuring all are operating within set parameters
Lead technical resolution of high-level system issues, conducting root cause analysis, and preventing future occurrences.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, policies, system configurations, and network maps.
Manage end-user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy, security, and compliance.
Perform system backups and recovery procedures to ensure data protection and availability.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders regarding IT systems and project updates.
Manage and mentor junior system administration staff, delegating tasks and projects as necessary.
Stay current with new technologies and best practices in systems administration to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
