Job Description Insight Global is looking for a System Safety engineer for the development of program safety plans to provide the engineering team with the application of safety policies and guidance. The individual will provide support to customer and other program personnel as required, as well as other system engineering tasks as required. The successful candidate will interface with team members and program team management to ensure high-quality products are generated on time and within the resources available. Additional responsibilities include: Integration of the product lines. Generation of responsible sections of the capability specifications. Training less experienced personnel in SE and Safety techniques. Reviewing the content and details of technical products and acting as a technical interface to customer working-level counterparts on an as-required basis. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree w/ 5+ years of experience Secret clearance or higher Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills Possess a System Engineering background with specialization in System and Software Safety Experience analyzing design to ensure safety requirements are met Ability to apply engineering principles to analyze and recommend design features that meet safety criteria in system design to control or eliminate hazards Experience developing safety documents to support customer and test requirements (SAR, SRA, SSPP) Experience with hazard identification. Experience participating in System Safety Working Groups.
