Essential Job Functions:
The Employee Health Secretary will provide clerical, reception, billing, and registration support to Employee Health Services. The incumbent in this role will work closely with the Employee Health Nurse/Physician Assistant to manage functions related - but not limited to - managing the random drug screening process for employees. Employee Health Services works closely with the Human Resources department on employee health-related matters.
Required Education:
High school diploma (or equivalent)Completion of an accredited medical terminology courseRequired Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a medical office settingFamiliarity with medical terminologyCommand of English language with excellent verbal and written communicationHigh degree of clerical accuracy and front/back office organizationAbility to maintain confidential record-keepingProficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, Windows and Gmail
