SUMMARY:

 

Works directly with the Government personnel in meeting the administrative needs of the project and its staff. The position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Traditional administrative/clerical support roles. Answering the telephone, typing/word processing of documents, maintaining calendars and setting up meetings, making travel arrangements, copying, faxing, greeting visitors, setting up files, tracking expenses, and coordinating building and equipment maintenance. Some work is completed without established procedures.

 

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Other duties as assigned. May require occasional travel.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

High school diploma/GED or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience creating and maintaining documentation and data management systems. Experience providing general administrative support in all facets of clerical administration. Verifiable experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience taking notes and converting into formal meeting minutes. Experience editing formal documentation and reformatting written and electronic draft documents in accordance with specified Government or business formats. Experience with receiving and greeting visitors professionally. Experience in the handling and storage of classified or sensitive (i.e. Personally Identifiable Information materials). Experience maintaining inventory of office supplies and ordering new supplies.Valid Driver's License.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

 

Ability to work in a support role supporting senior management and team. Ability to make travel arrangements, expense reports, schedule meetings and maintain calendars. Ability to develop effective working relationships across all organizational lines. Ability to handle information of a highly sensitive and confidential nature. Ability to prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines. Ability to work with others as part of a team. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access) and Adobe. Demonstrated ability (through experience) to work independently and communicate effective both orally and through formal reports. Demonstrated ability (through experience) to multi-task, perform and communicate professionally, including professional phone etiquette. Must be proficient with support functions for meetings, maintaining formal filing systems, scanning, faxing, answering phones and taking messages, managing calendars and scheduling appointments.

Work is typically performed in a controlled office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:

 

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTI are required.
