Secretary- Madison Wellness Center- 2nd Shift Secretary 4-9 p.m. weekdays and weekend rotation

Job Summary 

Responsible for clerical aspects that provide for an effective and efficient flow of information to and from the department. Frequent telephone and computer operations are performed.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

Education: 

High School diploma or GED required.  Associate degree from an accredited college preferred. 

 

Experience

Minimum of one-year experience as secretary or receptionist preferred, preferably in a hospital setting.

 

Additional Skills/Abilities

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond appropriately to customer complaints necessary.Must be able to use computer, desktop publishing, word processing and spreadsheet applications, fax machine, copy machine and multi-line telephone.Ability to use effective interpersonal relation skills when working with a variety of people and situationsAbility to type for administrative, technical, and procedure related purposes. Basic computer and keyboard skills requiredWillingness to work with clinical personnel and other team members to foster a productive work environment.
