Our client, a top-tier AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Securities Litigation Associate Attorney to join their nationally-recognized Securities Litigation Practice Group. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-profile securities disputes, regulatory matters, and internal investigations for some of the world's leading technology and life sciences companies. The role is available in multiple locations, with a preference for the firm's San Francisco or Silicon Valley office.
Candidate Profile:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction, or eligibility to sit for/waive into the next bar exam.
4+ years of substantive experience in securities litigation.
Strong background in handling securities class actions, derivative suits, and merger litigation.
Experience conducting internal investigations and advising on regulatory and white-collar defense matters.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage complex cases, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent issuers, directors, and officers in securities class actions, derivative suits, and merger-related litigation.
Conduct internal investigations involving allegations of accounting fraud, whistleblower claims, and anti-bribery violations.
Defend companies and individuals in DOJ and SEC investigations and regulatory proceedings.
Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda with precision and strategic insight.
Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and argue motions in state and federal courts.
Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
