Securitization Analysis Manager, Capital Markets (Hybrid Work Schedule)

Position Overview:

The Securitization Analytics team within Securitization Department in Single Family Portfolio and Servicing Division focuses on various aspects of the formation, disclosure, distribution, and competitiveness of single-class securities.

Our Impact:

The group monitors activities related to security performance – such as prepayment speeds, pool composition, and seller participation. Single Class Issuance establishes the policies and procedures to be followed when changes are proposed to business activities that may materially affect the security performance, cash flows, prepayment behavior, liquidity and/or valuation of FM’s Single-Family mortgage-related securities. Additionally, the group works with Fannie and FHFA to support the UMBS Alignment.

Your Impact:

The manager will interact with internal business partners including, but not limited to Pricing, Seller Engagement, Cash Window, Research and modeling, Legal, Security Operations, Compliance, and Portfolio Management.

Responsibilities include:Determining origination and securitization market trends, identifying potential issues and opportunitiesMonitoring monthly prepayment performance of $3 trillion Freddie outstanding securities; identifying outliers (cohort/seller level) that could impact security performanceManaging analysis related to the Single Security issuance and performanceEvaluating and communicating business performance against plans, past performance and peersParticipating in the design of models, products, and capital frameworks offerings in collaboration with othersQualifications:8-10+ years related experienceCollege degree in Math, Computer science or Finance related fieldsProficient in mining and analyzing data with SQL/SAS/R/PythonStrong analytic skills with some programming languagesAbility to balance baseline activities while supporting multiple projectsIn depth knowledge of TBA market for mortgage backed securitiesKeys to Success in this Role:Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changeAbility to manage other analysts to help them to achieveExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience communicating with external customers

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $182,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
