Securitization - Origination, Analyst/Associate

Role Description:

Support all aspects of originating, executing and monitoring securitization transactions for Mizuho’s corporate and institutional clientsAssist with credit applications and pitch booksAssist in monitoring, reporting and renewal of existing transactionsDevelop models and perform credit and collateral analysis using Excel, Intex, VBA on different types of asset pools, including trade receivables, auto loans/leases, credit cards, and esoteric asset classes, etcPerform market research and due diligence on existing and prospective customers, asset pools, and asset classesAssist team with internal projects and reporting as required

Requirements:

At least 2 years of relevant work experienceExperience with credit/collateral analysis and structuring of securitization transactions across different asset classes and types of structuresAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAdvanced transaction modeling skills using Excel, Intex, VBA, etc a plusAnalytical and detail oriented with strong organizational and problem solving skillsAbility to multitask in a fast paced environment with varying priorities to meet internal and external deadlinesSelf-motivated and pro-activeStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses required (must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not already held)
