The focus of Chrysalis is serving and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live a fulfilling life in the community. We are looking for a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Security Administrator to be responsible for desktop, mobile, and network security, troubleshooting network access and implementing network security policies and procedures at our organization. The Microsoft 365 Security Administrator works independently within the established procedures to ensure security access and protect against unauthorized access, modifications, or destruction. Your responsibilities include performing risk assessments, audits, staff training sessions, and monitoring network activity.

To be a successful Microsoft 365 Security Administrator, you should be meticulous and detail-oriented, with excellent technical and information security skills. You should be skilled at drafting security policies and training less technically skilled employees to be security conscious.  A good understanding of the application of HIPAA Privacy Rule will be useful as you will work closely with the Security and Privacy Officers at Chrysalis to ensure that HIPAA policies and practices are being followed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT Security or related degree, OR minimum of 3 years' experience managing IT security environments.
Strong working experience with Microsoft 365 security administration, including DLP, and Conditional Access.
Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
Detailed, thorough, organized, with aptitude for continual technology learning
Self-motivated with an ability to work in and foster a team environment, including the ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels and serve as a role model for teamwork
Excellent writing, typing and overall communication
 
Preferred:
Splunk SIEM working experience.
Sophos firewall working experience.
A good understanding of HIPAA policies, procedures and practices
Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
