Duties/Responsibilities: + Daily communication with project manager to resolve problems and discuss job status. + Builds a team effort. + Maintains accurate as-built drawings and/or schematics. + Completes associated paperwork in a timely, efficient manner per company requirements. + Performs troubleshooting and service work. + Terminates devices and panel wiring. + Programs panels and systems for proper operation per plans, specifications and code requirements. + Responsible for truck inventory control. + Communicates with ARK team members to effectively pursue company goals and criteria of installing alarm systems according to acceptable standards and practices. + Communicates with customer concerning the importance, operation and status of their security and electronic system. Assures customer satisfaction. + Conducts quality assurance. + Installation of system wiring as applicable + Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: + Possesses the aptitude to learn and apply new programing techniques and software to site specific systems. + Knowledge of alarm system requirements and have the ability to interpret code books and handbooks. + Must have customer relations experience and skills. + Field electronic practical experience required. + Good communication skills are necessary. + Conducts quality assurance on all completed work efforts + Must have a positive and respectful attitude and maintain good working relationships with management staff and employees. Education and Experience: + Computer literacy and system specific training required. + AA degree in electronics or equivalent technical/ military school supplemented with 3-5 years of related industry experience preferred, but not required. + Communications equipment, drills and other hand tools + Able to operate a laptop. + Familiar with MS Office, system application software, etc. + Valid driver-s license. + Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required, sponsored by ARK.
