The Security Analyst is responsible for the monitoring, investigation, and analysis of security issues across several tool sets and disciplines.  The ideal candidate will have a general IT background including experience in a service desk, systems administrator, network administrator, or equivalent role as well as a solid understanding of Information Security concepts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitor for and respond to security issues and threatsInvestigate alerts and incidents, leveraging various information security toolsAssist in coordinating vulnerability remediation projects with local site personnelAct as the front-line liaison between the security team and the rest of the company

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 3 years IT experience in a support, administration, or engineering roleGeneral knowledge of Information Security best practices in an enterprise environmentKnowledge of or experience in two or more of the following IT domains:General operating system management and securityFirewalls and general networking conceptsPatch management and/or vulnerability remediationPhishing campaigns and end user security trainingPenetration testing, incident response, computer forensicsScripting, development, and/or automationExperience with any of the following a plus:Microsoft Office 365/Azure security portalsMicrosoft Defender ATPRapid7 InsightIDR/VM and/or NexposeFortinet or Juniper firewallsPowerShell, Bash, or Python
