The scope of work is to provide a full range of Information Security skills in support of the Office of Information Security.

Years of Experience:
8 or more years of experience in the field
Job Description:
• Routine monitoring of security systems, logs and system access
• Routine testing for systems and network vulnerabilities
• Configuring, hardening and troubleshooting security related settings on information systems
• Network security configuration and administration
• Special projects implementing security systems
Fundamental requirements:
• Advanced knowledge of network and system security configuration and monitoring
• Thorough, in-depth knowledge of and experience with TCP/IP packet level analysis
• Proven ability to perform advanced penetration and vulnerability testing, wired and wireless network audits and
incident response
• Experience with Information Security systems such as:
IDS/IPS, AV, Certificates, Encryption, Web Filters, Firewalls
• Current Security Certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+ or other relevant certification
• Meticulous attention to detail, skilled in providing documentation for end-users, ability to balance multiple tasks
simultaneously and to work both independently and in a team environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Legally eligible to be hired as a state employee
• Desired but not required: working knowledge of BackTrack, Sophos, Metasploit, Nessus, Qualys
