About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Network/Computer Security Analyst to join our team. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats, as well as implementing robust security measures to protect against potential breaches while working with the development team.
Responsibilities:
+ Work with the development team to understand common security issues and solutions.
+ Update the team on emerging threats and security challenges.
+ Assist in configuring and maintaining the security tools in use.
+ Provide feedback on the product’s design and usability.
+ Work with the QA team to develop real-world use cases and tests.
+ Help in training and creating documentation for internal users and customers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
+ Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in network security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
+ Proficiency in network and system security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM especially Suricata, Zeek, Arkime, OpenSearch, and similar tools.
+ Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching. Experience with vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and risk management.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
+ Ability to train and educate staff on security best practices.
+ Up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
+ Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
+ Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
+ Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and related fields.
+ Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CEH, or similar.
+ CCNP, CCNA or equivalent network security certification highly desired.
