Robert Half is seeking an experienced and strategic Security Architect to support one of our top-tier clients. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures that protect critical systems, applications, and data. Key Responsibilities:
+ Design and develop comprehensive security architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
+ Lead the identification of security risks and recommend solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and threats
+ Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices aligned with industry regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
+ Collaborate with IT, development, and business teams to integrate security into system designs, software development lifecycles, and network infrastructure
+ Evaluate new security technologies and tools to enhance threat detection, prevention, and response capabilities
+ Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses to identify gaps and recommend improvements
+ Provide technical guidance on security incidents, investigations, and incident response processes
+ Educate and mentor cross-functional teams on security awareness, emerging threats, and secure development practices
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
+ 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 2 years in a security architecture or leadership position
+ Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, OWASP, and GDPR
+ Expertise in securing cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and hybrid environments
+ In-depth understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption technologies
+ Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including SIEMs, DLP, IAM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about complex security issues
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and convey technical concepts effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty
+ Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
+ Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and micro-segmentation strategies
+ Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security assessments
+ Background in threat intelligence, incident response, or digital forensics is a plus
