CTG is seeking to fill a Security Architect Enterprise Security opening for our client in New York. Location: Remote Duration: 3 months Duties: Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise security architecture with a focus on Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID. Lead the remediation and resolution of Identity and Access Management (IAM) issues, specifically related to User ID management on Active Directory/Azure. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and troubleshoot design issues, working hands-on to correct and improve systems. Refine processes and technologies to ensure robust, scalable, and secure IAM solutions. Evaluate and enhance the overall security posture of AD/Azure environments. Document and communicate security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Engage in architecture and design sessions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security integration and compliance. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Be on-site in NY as required and participate in security reviews and audits. Skills: Expertise in Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD (Entra ID) security architecture. Deep knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and best practices. Hands-on experience with AD and Azure AD remediation, troubleshooting, and security improvements. Strong technical understanding of IAM processes and User ID management. Ability to identify design issues in complex environments and implement effective solutions. Experience with SWAC clearance or the ability to obtain it. Experience: Proven experience in security architecture, particularly with Active Directory and Azure AD environments. Hands-on experience with User ID issues, IAM technology, and security processes. Experience working in enterprise environments, handling security issues and ensuring compliance. Experience in providing actionable security recommendations based on architectural review and system analysis. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications are a plus. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
