Security Assessor
Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS055, T1, Band 4 Specific Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical security assessments and analysis, working with stakeholders to address security concerns. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of complex technical systems. Collaborate with technical teams to implement and maintain security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential weaknesses. Assist in the development and maintenance of incident response plans, ensuring swift and effective actions in case of security breaches. Generate detailed reports documenting security findings, risks, and recommendations for management and technical teams. Provide security training and awareness initiatives to personnel involved in operation and maintenance activities.
Requirements: Active Secret clearance is required. Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship. This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule. Telework: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance and be available to work onsite at the customer’s discretion. This includes being on-site during the transition period. Must be based around Colorado Springs, CO. 1+ years of experience as a Security Assessor or related field.
