Allied Universal® is hiring a Behavior Detection Officer. Utilizing the highest caliber of security professionals the Allied Universal SUSPICION INDICATORS RECOGNITION & ASSESSMENT™ (SIRA program provides enhanced security to clients and facilities from possible acts of violence, sabotage, and crime). At each AUS/SIRA™ Program site, certified Behavior Detection Officers (BDO) conduct patrols and interact with guests, tenants, and others to proactively identify suspicion indicators, assess threat potential, and engage in security interviewing in order to deter and prevent malicious acts, while providing the highest level of customer service. As a part of the AUS/SIRA™ proactive security model, Behavior Detection Officers (BDOs) develop and maintain close working relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and other private entity partners.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Deter terrorist activity, violent attacks, and other malicious acts through patrolling, searching for suspicion indicators and assessing threat potentialBased on detected suspicion indicators conduct friendly security interviewsUtilize quick decision-making skills and sound judgment acting in accordance with policies, procedures, and state statue

QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal Education, Licenses, Investigation, and Certifications Required:Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentMust possess a current and valid driver’s licenseLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:Work history to include one or more of the following:Military experienceLaw enforcement experienceAssociate’s Degree or higher in Criminal JusticeWork history must also include one or more of the following:
One (1) year verifiable experience in guest servicesOne (1) year verifiable experience in salesOne (1) year customer service
