Allied Universal is looking to hire a Security Consultant. This position identifies and evaluates physical security deficiencies and vulnerabilities at Human facilities. Designs, coordinates, and implements technological and architectural solutions to protect Company assets, including property, people, and information. Responsible for start-to-end project management, including budgeting, logistics, and execution.

Performs physical security site surveys at various enterprise locations, determines project scope and develops tailored security solutions. Leads analysis of security vulnerabilities and system failures, and determines cost-effective countermeasures. Facilitates multidisciplinary working groups to determine security solutions and mitigate risks. Conducts field testing and evaluates new and specialized security equipment for health care facilities and prepares scope development for competitive purchasing processes. Designs integrated CCTV, intrusion, and access control systems for clinical and employer health care centers and their business offices. Represents the Physical Security Division to the Health & Wellness business units and other Company departments, and collaborates with other professionals on projects. Develops training materials and provides on-the-job and classroom instruction to Loss Prevention and other employees. Conducts investigations related to security matters to include fraud, theft, etc.

Operational Responsibilities:

Assist to ensure the asset protection and fraud detection programs and strategies of the organization are effectively implementedFacilitate multidisciplinary working groups to determine security solutions and mitigate risksReview emergency plans and ensure feasibility of applicationConduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Communication Responsibilities:

Cultivate information relationships for operational applicationEnsures proper information flow to internal & external entities as they relate to eventsProvides clear and concise facts through communication means to include email, phone and in personFacilitate cross-communication between pertinent company contacts for issue resolution

Administrative Responsibilities:

Identify information gaps and information requirementsReview processes, identify gaps and recommend methods for improvement

Technical Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and operational guidance to operations employeesProvide data & operational effectiveness metricsEvaluate issue relevancy and determine possible solutions

Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a security or management related fieldPrior experience in a commercial security industry or security related government work; prior positions of leadership; experience with security technology and installationAbility to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
