Responsibilities The SCA-R performs functions within the A&A process, assesses programs’ security posture, and builds reports detailing assessment results, and submits those reports and all supporting data to the governing AO along with recommendations for improving a programs cybersecurity posture. The SCA-R will also function as a team lead over assessors on assessments.The SCA-R Team lead must also be able to demonstrate leadrship skills with previous lead poisitions, customer service skills, project managment skills, and be proficient with RMF process, NIST SP 800-37, NIST PS 800-53 aned CNSSI 1253.Must have the ability to communicate accurate informationSCA-Rs are required to use the following tools and create/maintain active accounts for authorized DISA systems (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, etc.) and maintain access to all prescribed tools and websites that support RE5 missions. SCA-Rs may be required to use one or more of the following tools and create/maintain active accounts for databases including: Travel Request Information Processing System (TRIPS), eMASS, DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR), Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS), Request Tasking System (RTS), Team Lead Resource (TLR), Whitelist, VDP, OPORDs, System/Network Approval Process(SNAP), GIG Interconnection Approval Process (GIAP), Enterprise Security Posture System (ESPS), PPSM, CSSP, APL, nSPECT, , Axonius, BURP, and Checkmarx. QualificationsRequired:
Bachelors degree (IT - Related Field preferred)active Top Secret Clerance, SCI eligible.DoD 8570 IAM IAT Level III certification PMP certification 12 or more years of experience in Cybersecuirty,5 to 8 years of experience in Certification and Accreditation/A&A3 to 5 years of Security Control Assessor/Validator Experienceat least 5 years of prpject managment work.
