Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Sector provides an arena where your passion for innovation and quest for exploration is welcome. As a Security Coordinator 4, your role at the El Segundo, Ca facility will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing Security support for a classified program and customers. This involves interaction with internal and external customers, and exposure to classified and sensitive unclassified information.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide direct assistance and support in areas of Program (CSSO), Personnel (PERSEC) and Physical Security

Responsible for administrative tasks such as monitoring, maintaining, and verifying information in various security databases to ensure systems are up to date and procedural/regulatory requirements are met; answering telephones; scheduling meetings and setting up and maintaining various files; conducting training and other briefings; and providing direct daily security support to classified program

Security duties and responsibilities within NG facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements

Conduct special access briefings

Maintain records and databases

Process visits authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas

Safeguard classified materials

Oversee the daily operation of classified work areas

Pick-up and drop-off classified mail

Other security related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of additional education and/or related administrative or security experience

Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret and Top Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company

Preferred Qualifications:

Current active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance

Customer service oriented - dependable, responsive, and possess the qualities of diplomacy, discretion, and initiative

Well organized, willing to work in a team environment, able to prioritize tasking, and perform effectively in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences and all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communications

Make sound decisions, manage time, take independent action, and provide focused solutions

Work with minimal direction and supervision to support the security

Salary Range: $59,300.00 - $98,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
