The Security Coordinator will work out of the System Control Center and provide supervision for internal and external security staff at various facilities across the City of Austin and Travis County. Work Schedule Week 1: (Off Monday / Saturday) Week 2: (Off Sunday/Monday) Between the hours 2nd Shift: 3:00PM – 11:00PM 3rd Shift: 10:00PM – 6:00AM The Security Operations Supervisor is the main point of contact for the work group during their schedule hours and may be contacted by staff after-hour shifts. They will need to make sure security staff is present and performing their duties at all facilities. Operate the 24/7 physical access control and surveillance system to support secured operations of the utility and follow, produce, and enforce site policies, procedures and guidelines. Tasks may include: + Responding and investigating disturbance on-site and remote properties located throughout the city of Austin. + Respond to after-hour issues relating to maintenance and access. + Facilitate police and emergency response at AE sites. + Patrol electric utility sub-stations, critical infrastructure, unmanned facilities, construction lay down yards and other sites as needed. + Meet and provide access to law enforcement agencies to secured and/or energized areas as needed. + Work outside scheduled hours to ensure consistent coverage. + Attend and produce training/meetings and other activities as needed to meet utility and business unit needs.
