THE JOB:

Join Our Team as a Security Dispatcher at Aria! As a Security Dispatcher, you’ll be the central communication hub for our Security Department, managing radio and phone messages while ensuring smooth operations. This fast-paced role requires quick thinking, excellent multitasking, and the ability to make informed decisions, especially in emergencies. THE STARTING RATE: $22 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Monitor Security Systems: Continuously observe cameras, access controls, and alarms to detect and respond to potential threats.

Manage Phone & Radio Communications: Operate radios and telephones to relay critical information between security teams, management, and other departments.

Coordinate Security Responses: Direct security officers to incidents, emergencies, and requests, ensuring swift and effective action.

Incident Logging & Reporting: Accurately document security activities, emergencies, and responses in real-time for clear record-keeping.

Emergency Protocol Execution: Follow established procedures for fires, medical emergencies, and active threats while coordinating with local authorities.

Liaison with External Agencies: Work closely with law enforcement, EMS, and other agencies to provide necessary support during emergencies.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older.

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Background: Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred.

Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with guests and team members.

Emergency Preparedness: Ability to participate in evacuation procedures to assist guests and employees during emergencies.

Equipment Proficiency: Capable of operating assigned security equipment effectively.

Training Requirement: Candidates must successfully complete a security dispatch training course.
