**Make a Difference**
The Security Dispatcher works as a pivotal member to coordinate Safety and Security department actions provided to patients, visitors, and employees of Community Health Network. The Security Dispatcher monitors and provides appropriate immediate response to all public safety, property protection, risk management, customer and staff education, investigations, parking, and security contract services situations affecting Community Health Network.
**Your exceptional skills and qualifications**
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates Leadership, Organizational skills and Interpersonal skills
• Ability to obtain essential information
• Appropriate evaluations of and response to all incoming activity
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local municipal agencies and city departments
• Coordination, reception, and transmission of radio traffic between Hospital Security and location police and fire
• Must retain cross training for all Community Health Network sites
• Ability to work in potential high stress emergencies to coordinate security resources
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and/or equivalent experience in Public Safety preferred
• Previous security, law enforcement or central station operations experience preferred
• Must successfully complete Central Dispatch Officer written and practical testing after the training period is completed
