Security Engineer, ICE Business Unit United Wholesale Mortgage Location US-MI-Pontiac  

The Information Security Engineer will report directly to and support the Chief Information Security Officer to provide the highest quality information assurance program to our business teams and customers.  The Information Security Engineer will develop and implement security processes and solutions, including the ongoing assessment and compliance to required security guidelines across the enterprise computing environment.

 

We are looking for someone with a strong background in next generation Palo Alto firewalls and a proven ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Administer network and computing systems that enforce security policies and audit controls in a MS Windows environmentFormulate security architecture recommendations and design security servicesMust be able to perform hands-on support for a wide range of security technologiesReviews and assesses the security configuration of clients, servers, and databases.  Co-develops standard security configuration documents to ensure the effective use of system and application logs, to detect anomalous behavior and ensure compliance with policy and regulatory requirementsAssist in responses to external audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessmentsResearch emerging technologies in support of security enhancement and development effortsPerform project leadership tasks on select security projectsStrong, solid familiarity with application and network security WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Muat Have Qualifications:

2+ years of hands on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls7+ years' experience in IT security operations and architectureExperience with standard security tools: Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Anti-Virus, Vulnerability Scanners, etc.Experience analyzing network, event and security logs

Nice to Have Qualifications: 

Four year degree in a relevant field preferred or an equivalent amount of post-secondary education and experienceCISSP, CISA, CEH, CSSLP, CHFI, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA, PMP, ITIL v3 THE PLACE & THE PERKS
