Alliant Credit Union is seeking Security Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent degree. 6 years of related experience. Required Skills: Apply network protocols, Firewalls [Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint], IDS/IPS, Proxy, VPN IPSEC tunnels, Automation tools like Tufin & Algosec (5 yrs); Design, implement and manage security infrastructure including access management and authentication mechanisms (5 yrs); Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a secure environment (5 yrs); Apply network security auditing practices, including Vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and log analysis to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies (5 yrs); Apply incident response procedures, including analysis, containment related to network infrastructure (5 yrs); Use network monitoring tools including Wireshark to analyze network traffic, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot network issues (5 yrs). 100% telecommuting; 20% travel required; can live anywhere in the United States.
