Description We are in search of a Security Engineer with a strong background in application development to join our FinTech team in Illinois. As a Security Engineer, you will work closely with our systems, network, and application development technology teams to manage vulnerabilities and enhance the efficiency of our information security system. Responsibilities: • Enhance the productivity and efficiency of the Information Security Program through the implementation of appropriate products and procedures • Act as an advisor, providing technical insights on controls, processes, and procedures • Review and take remedial action on internal and external network, application vulnerability, and configuration scans • Collaborate with the team to monitor and respond to SIEM, IAM, and other related Information Security Systems • Collaborate with various technical environments and business segments, and work with auditors and regulators • Improve resource and time management through advanced preparation • Continuously seek ways to improve system security • Evaluate system configurations with great judgment Requirements • Proven experience in managing Access Control systems in a FinTech environment • Expertise in Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) • Familiarity with Active Directory and its role in network security • Experience in conducting Audits for system security and implementing necessary improvements • Knowledge of Authentication methods and their application in a secure network environment • Ability to handle Computer Hardware related to network and security systems • Proficient in Configuration Management to ensure system security • Basic understanding of Core Java for security system scripting and automation • Experience in identifying and implementing Vulnerability Remediations • Proficient in conducting Vulnerability Scanning to identify potential security risks • Prior experience with Veracode for application security testing and vulnerability management Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
