Security Engineering Manager

What does a successful Security Engineering Manager do at Fiserv?

As an integral member of the Perimeter Security team, you'll help lead a global team of infrastructure, architecture, and engineering professionals responsible for the design, build, and sustainment of network security infrastructure that secures customer financial transactions within a highly regulated environment. You'll be instrumental in providing design and engineering expertise to project and program initiatives, thereby fostering collaboration across various information security teams for seamless delivery within established processes.

What you will do:

Create and execute a technology-focused plan based on project delivery, sustainment of the production environments, and talent development of the engineering team membersLead engineering efforts to enhance security service capabilities and perform hardware and software lifecycle managementDevelop direct relationships with various infrastructure technology and business leaders across the Fiserv Enterprise to accomplish shared goalsHelp select next generation security controls and strategies and lead a team of engineers charged with implementing, maintaining, and reporting on the network security technologies that are directly consumed by Fiserv customersLead complex designs covering a geo-diverse footprint across multiple large-scale data centers processing mission-critical, high-volume transactionsDevelop robust relationships with internal and occasional external customers to ensure technically sound solutionsCollaborate with project teams to drive significant tech refresh activities, achieving impactful results

What you will need to have: 

10+ years of experience in technical sales and project management roles5+ years of experience in communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersCurrent Fiserv system experienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
