As a Security Guard, you will work under the Security Manager, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and team members, in accordance with New YorkGaming Commission and applicable operational standards. Responsibilities Enforce rules and regulations of the local gaming commissionAdhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and proceduresReport any incidents, following all departmental and organizational policies and procedures, and report any procedural violations and illegal activityFill out departmental log forms, verifying all paperwork is complete and turned in at the conclusion of shiftsProcess guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations, and communicate with guests sensitively and with careQualifications No high school diploma or GED requiredAble to be licensed by state gaming commissionHighly motivated and takes initiativeTeam-oriented; ability to work effectively with othersAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, stooping, lifting, reaching, and pushing, with strong manual dexterity and the ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. You may also occasionally required to sit for periods of timeVisual awareness, sufficient to identify potential security violationsHearing ability sufficient to respond to the spoken voice, audible alarms and two-way radiosExposure to all weather conditionsShift Details
