As a Security Guard, you will work under the Security Manager, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and team members, in accordance with Arkansas Gaming Commission and applicable operational standards. Responsibilities Enforce rules and regulations of the local gaming commissionAdhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and proceduresReport any incidents, following all departmental and organizational policies and procedures, and report any procedural violations and illegal activityFill out departmental log forms, verifying all paperwork is complete and turned in at the conclusion of shiftsProcess guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations, and communicate with guests sensitively and with careHold and maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug testOperate a motor vehicle when necessaryQualifications No high school diploma or GED requiredSecurity guard, state certified Able to be licensed by state gaming commissionHighly motivated and takes initiativeTeam-oriented; ability to work effectively with othersAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentHold and maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug testOperate a motor vehicle when necessaryPhysical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, stooping, lifting, reaching, and pushing, with strong manual dexterity and the ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
