JOB SUMMARY:
Observes, Reports, Maintain Visibility, and Provides Service to all departments, employees, visitors, customers, contractors, or vendors. Applicant must have a valid California Bureau of Security and Investigate Services license.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property on foot or in a vehicle while deterring trespassing and observing suspicious activities. Ability to multi-task and work alone. Ability to use Bosch Operator Client DVR system, Windows computer program, and Microsoft Office programs. Using a two-way radio and smart cell phone to promptly document patrol duties, tour scans, and incident reports. Ability to respond and identify alarms for fire, burglar, HVAC, and generator alarms on designated panels or UPS backup systems. Ability to inspect and report manufacturing or HVAC equipment in alarm for correction or shut down. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities in building security measures and/or facility operations and informing violators of Company policy and procedures. Enforces parking policies and assignments with employees, contractors, and visitors on private property areas. Follows post instructions and security policies and guidelines. Obtains signatures, contractor information, and receipts for company business transactions. Perform other work-related duties as assigned in collaboration with other team members. Ensures secured areas are frequently audited by conducting foot and vehicle patrols. Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements, company guidelines, and uniform standards. Monitor and control access at building entrances, common areas, and vehicle gates Perform first aid or CPR, transport an injured person to the clinic, or contact emergency services. Ability to identify visitors, contractors, and government service representatives and ask for appropriate documents and identification. Ability to direct employees and visitors during an emergency. Ensures employee and visitor safety. Ability to learn and work with multiple tools of the Security profession trade. Ability to identify and report incidents of aggressive behavior. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to make verbal and written notifications to Executive level management at all hours.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma or general education degree.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of documented Security experience is required, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Military and Law Enforcement (including Explorer program) experience desired.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Have a current and valid guard card/license as per the California Bureau of Security & Investigative Services. CPR and AED training is desired—a valid and active Class C Driver’s License.
Computer Skills:
Bosch Operator Client DVR system, Windows computer programs, Microsoft Office programs. Knowledgeable use of a smart mobile device and mobile phone applications for data entry and processing is desired.
Mathematical Abilities:
High School Diploma abilities.
Analytical or Reasoning Abilities:
Security and Safety knowledge.
Communication Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning)
Ability to write up reports and provide instructions to employees on security matters. Spanish speaking is a plus.
Other Skills (Technical or Other special knowledge and abilities)
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing concisely. Incident Report Writing and Daily Activity Report skills experienced desired.
Forklift driving when needed.

Regularly required to walk, sit and stand for prolonged periods. Gross manual dexterity (operating a motor vehicle) is also required. Ability to stand for prolonged periods up to 10 hours/day, to walk up to 10 hours/day and/or sit for up to 30-60 minutes/day, twisting or bending up to 10 hours/day, overhead work up to 10 hours as needed per production area. Ability to lift/pull/push 50 lbs. up to 50 % of the shift.” Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. or heavier if another team member is available. Able to work night shifts and on weekends when required. Able to work overtime as needed.

Salary Range : $19.56 - $22.50
