Foot Locker is looking for Security Guards to join our team. Reporting to the Team Leader, Lead Detective, and Store Detective, incumbent will be responsible for securing the stationed Foot Locker store (Midtown Manhattan Locations).

Pay Range:

Part Time: $16.00 /Hr.

Full Time: $16.00 - $18.75/ Hr.

Responsibilities Supports a positive customer shopping experience and maintains a strong store partnership with store teams and Loss Prevention. Understands operational procedures and deters acts of dishonesty within established customer service guidelines.Execute security services as outlined in post orders and directed by Security leadsMaintain a strong presence on the sales floor and/or front door with courteous and professional interactions with clientsProvides an effective deterrent to theft through customer engagement and a professional and knowledgeable presenceMonitor store entrance/ exit responding to the EAS system in a friendly customer service approachExcellent communication skills and sound judgmentSign in employees/vendors and verify any Footlocker merchandise. Sign out employees/vendors and verify all Foot Locker merchandise and verify purchases against the employee's receipt.Stand in a professional position (for up to an entire shift)Act as a customer-friendly visual deterrent to crimeObserve and report suspicious activities and persons on propertyWrite detailed narrative reports and maintain daily incident reportsCommunicates shrink-related concerns to Store Management and Loss PreventionMaintains an effective partnership with Store Management and Loss Prevention to accomplish work assignments and overall goals and objectives.Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentialityPerforms other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications High school diploma or GEDRequires valid NY State security guard license (may be in the process or obtaining)Professional image and attitude with a strong security presenceGood communication skillsMust demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.Values & exhibits the highest level of personal integrity.Punctual, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
