Who we’re looking for: 

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team in the automotive industry? OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for a Security Guard with experience in inventory control and customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a security capacity. 

The shifts available are:

     -Day Shifts (7:30am-4:00pm)

-Afternoon Shifts (3:30pm-12:00am)

     -Graveyard Shifts (11:30pm-8:00am)

You Will:

Ensure site security by maintaining the auction perimeter; verifying proper clearance for personnel and customers, transporters, and supply companies; and completing rounds

Inventory, record, and store personal property from repossessed vehicles. 

May be responsible for completing vehicle stock in/check-out, using a handheld device 

Look up AuctionTrac data for customers, guiding them to where the inventory is located

Provide excellent customer service by assisting dealers with various procedures and requests in an efficient and timely manner

Must Haves:

1-3 years experience in a Security role is preferred

High School diploma or equivalent 

A valid Drivers’ license is required

Valid BST license (British Columbiaonly)

Basic computer & smartphone skills 

Experience working outside in all weather conditions

Strong customer service and communication skills

Nice to Haves: 

Bilingual in French/English

First Aid/CPR certification

Ability to drive both standard & automatic transmissions
