**Security Guard on 2nd Shift in Rockville, MD** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Security Guard to join our team for the 2nd shift. The primary role of this position is to ensure the safety and security of all patients, team members, visitors, physicians, and volunteers within our facility and its surrounding areas. This role involves conducting foot and vehicular patrols, assisting with restraining violent patients, and maintaining a positive image of the organization. **Responsibilities** + Ensure a safe environment for all patients, team members, visitors, physicians, and volunteers by conducting foot patrols of the facility and parking areas, as well as vehicular patrols of parking areas and off-site locations. Assist with restraining violent patients as needed. (50%) + Ensure quality outcomes for the security department by communicating effectively with security team members and the public. (20%) + Use time and resources in a financially responsible manner. (10%) + Foster group cohesiveness within the security department. (10%) + Portray a positive image of the organization. (9%) + Access non-pharmacy medication areas as necessary to perform assigned duties in accordance with Policy #101-22-001.
